Pippin Health is a home-based speech, language, and cognitive neurolinguistic practice in Alexandria, Virginia, founded on a simple belief: every voice deserves to be found, strengthened, and heard. Whether you are a parent with questions about your child's development or an adult working toward your own communication goals, care here starts the same way: with listening.
Sessions are unhurried and individualized. Rather than a one-size-fits-all program, you will find an approach shaped around your priorities, your pace, and the life you are communicating into , whether that be at home, at school, at work, or in your community.
Pippin Health is a small practice by design, so that the relationship between clinician and client stays personal and the care stays attentive.
WHY PIPPIN
The Albemarle Pippin was the heirloom apple grown in the Virginia Piedmont and cultivated at Monticello — so prized it was carried abroad and admired by a queen. Beneath the name sits the older meaning of pip: the single seed that holds an entire orchard in potential. Small beginnings, carefully tended, grown into something that lasts.

We offer a variety of bespoke speech & language and consulting services to include evaluation and therapy.

Getting started is simple. Reach out to us via email to inquire and get started.

We are not in-network with any insurance providers (but hope to be soon). We can, however, provide a superbill to self-bill insurance.

We offer a flat rate of $600 for comprehensive speech & language evaluations and $300/hour for therapy; therapy sessions are prorated based on the length of time for each individual. Please contact us for quotes for expert witness of consultative packages.

We offer sessions in-home, as we believe this is the best way to generalize skills taught in therapy. Our fees reflect services within the City of Alexandria; we may be able to provide services to other counties within Northern Virginia, dependent on clinician availability.
